About ICC The Compliance Center Inc.

ICC The Compliance Center Inc. was founded in 1987 as a result of the Mississauga train derailment November 10th, 1979. On this train were railcars of chlorine, styrene, propane and fiberglass that caught fire within minutes of derailing. This incident gave rise to the largest peacetime evacuation in North American history, lasting a full week, becoming the backbone for legislative changes to the safe transportation of dangerous goods in Canada.
What started as a small business partnership of four individuals, soon turned into a prosperous medium-sized corporation with geographic locations throughout Canada and the United States. Not long after, ICC began taking on distributors to service regional markets in western Canada, eastern and southern United States. Throughout the years, ICC has developed products which have become the de facto standard of the chemical industry. With over 120 years of combined regulatory experience, our regulatory staff has current knowledge of regulations and proposed changes, and can influence the development and implementation of future regulations.

ICC The Compliance Center Inc. offers an extensive line of products for shipping hazardous materials/dangerous goods. We carry signage, placards, labels, packaging, and transportation accessories such as logbooks, and regulatory publications standard to industry. From a regulatory perspective, we offer training for all modes of transport (sea/air/US ground/Canada ground). Our regulatory staff understands the regulations, enabling them to answer all your questions relating to shipping your product safely, and properly.
