Initial Training

This program is designed as specialty training for chemists, regulatory specialists, manufacturers and other individuals involved in performing the classification procedure for dangerous goods. This two-day program concentrates on Step 1 only and shows the participant the precise classification process for the different modes of transport. This will also include classification of wastes (according to the TDGR or 49 CFR), marine pollutants, mixtures and solutions.

Prerequisite: TR-CLR10/TR-CLR100, TR-HMT10/TR-HMT100 or equivalent; and chemical knowledge
