Kirsten Alcock is a highly accomplished expert in regulatory affairs and hazard communication, with more than 25 years of experience. A graduate of the University of Western Ontario with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Zoology, she specializes in authoring Safety Data Sheets and creating workplace and consumer labels that comply with Canadian and U.S. regulations.
She also develops specialized programs to train clients and internal teams on various chemical legislation requirements. These include but are not limited to GHS, OSHA, WHMIS, CCCR, CPSC, as well as legislation related to the Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Packaging, and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).
A recognized leader in her field since 1999, Kirsten has earned multiple professional certificates and completed over 280 hours of additional training through the Society for Chemical Hazard Communication (SCHC). She has been a member for more than 25 years, serving six years on the Board of Directors as well as contributing to other committees within the association.
